So let's get this straight, he is not a top ten SF anymore? C'mon, some of you thought that a year or two ago do you think that now?
Just because somebody isn't 'top 10' anymore doesn't mean they never were. He was averaging 14/6 on 40% from 3pt while playing solid defense for the #1 seed in the Eastern Conference - essentially, exactly what Jaylen Brown is doing this year (but with a much better FT%).
There was talk earlier in the year about Jaylen being a possible all-star. While that no longer seems to be likely, I assume he
might be considered top 10 (NOTE: I understand that Jaylen has considerable more potential - just comparing their respective seasons).
Crowder played his role very effectively and certainly had an impact on winning in Boston. Losing his contract was a tough pill to swallow. If he were playing anywhere else, I would totally be cheering him on.
