Jaylen Brown may have strained some ligaments around his MCL during Boston's Christmas Day game.

Brown left the arena on a crutch following the injury.

Brown could be heard screaming "ahh" before hopping on one leg and hobbling off the court.

Brown had also been dealing with a sore Achilles.

“Jaylen Brown said he may have stained some ligaments around the MCL but says he feels better and will return asap. He remains doubtful for tonight“ https://twitter.com/GwashburnGlobe/status/946050117504815104

how long does it take usually for a strain MCL to heal just from resting? While it sucks, he should be resting now

not sure but brown said he feels better and will return ASAP. I’m starting to believe that brown is a superhero or something in his spare time

I saw him get kicked on that play so that makes me think that he has none of the above than the sore Achilles.

They were also hitting Theis purposely in the face.

And Semi too.

Not to mention that Horford, Thesis, Baynes, and Kyrie all missed a few games already this season.

Honestly I take this as good news. When I first saw it I thought he blew his Achilles or something
Given that's it's a strain and he wasn't ruled out till today it doesn't seem too serious. Now he can test this injury and get the Achilles some rest at the same time. We've played 37 games, most teams are like 32-34 right now. It's gotta be taking a tole on both our rebounding and defense.

Brown tends to miss a lot of games for some reason. He's got to toughen up!

I hope that's satire.  If so, bravo.

losses will pile up too.   its not as simple s the next man up.....the next crew up is not as good as the Haywards , Morris s and Browns .   Even Theis hurt was noticed.  Semi wil be missed too.

Im not expecting to see many wins long as 3-4 best players are hurt every game.

Horford and Irving can 't win alone .     "They will play too much and be hurt too.

Celtics are running low,on offensive threats ......ie .....scoring.

NBA stupid schedule doesn't allow enough rest between games .

It is kind of humorous that the season started two weeks earlier to lessen the strain of the schedule on the players....

They were also hitting Theis purposely in the face.

Wizards play dirty. Celtics will just have to play dirty to them the next few times they meet.
