Never expected Shane to take over the game like he did in last night's victory.

The game appeared to be perpetually out of reach. The Celtics kept clawing their way back. Much of the comeback came with Shane running the show. He looked poised while controlling the offense. He knew when to hold the ball, how to drive to the hoop and when to set up his teammates. Plus, his shot was falling. There were a couple mental errors where the refs bailed him out. But overall, he played great!

Good to see that he wasn't intimidated with the expanded role when called upon.

Not the first time he's done it this year, so it shouldn't be that surprising.  Another great pickup by DA.

TP. Seems to have been lost in all the excitement.

He’s a great high energy point guard who has been ignored by nba teams for his size. Remind you of anyone

I'm not salty because it's over now but I have been begging for a backup point for years now, we needed him or someone the last two seasons for sure! No, we relied on Smart and Roze and it hurt. Last night would have ended like many games last season without Larkin. All we needed was a backup who could calm the guys and run the offense (nice that he isn't a terrible shooter too) but we never even tried it. Last season it was worse than the other seasons because we couldn't lean on a guy like Turner (IMO).
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Larkin had a 44 inch vertical, highest in 2013 draft

If Kyrie isnt playing tomorrow my vote would go for Larkin to start. The reason is hes a true point guard and keeps our guard rotation intact.

He's also a better shooter than Rozier or Smart.

I watched last season here in Europe. He was a top player in Euroleague, he did the same things like wth Hornets, just every night. Great talent, but to do it every night in NBA, he's got to work harder, especialy on defense. That's why we have Brad.

Credit where it is due. Larkin used his chances well and performed as the C's needed. He'll probably get paid next year but not by the C's.

I hate Larkin on this team but he came through that game. He is a lot better when he takes his shots. I see to many issues if his shot isn't falling though. Hope he keeps hitting his shots and becomes a + player.

Things are going to get tricky next year in FA.  Baynes is only signed to a 1 year contract as well.  If we want both back we’ll have to use exceptions as we don’t have their bird rights.  If we use the DPE this year on a solid player that’s another expiring contract, and that would be a 3rd guy we don’t have bird rights to.

I wish we were able to sign Baynes to a 2 or 3 year deal.
