Our last three opponents have ALL had three days off (Lakers, Charlotte, and Toronto) and the Nets will and so will G.S.!!!  And we will NOT have three days off prior to any of those games.

We only have 3 days of more off between games 3 times by January 1.  But (counting the one that occurs between the end of December and January), we will have 13 times (NOT counting the All-Star Break) in which we have at least 3 days off the rest of the season!!!!

Too bad it worked out this way with all of our injuries of late, but we have pushed thru despite playing more rested teams!!!

That makes this streak even MORE IMPRESSIVE!!!

For some strange voodoo reason. For 2 years now our team seems to perform awful anyway after 3days rest
Our team is quite young and I believe they perform better on 1 or 2 days rest simply hecause they dont lose that competitive edge .

Good point!!!  I just worry that with our bench being quite shortened that we will wear down our players early into the season.

That being said, I just checked and NO ONE on our team is averaging 32 minutes per game going into the game tonight!!  What a GREAT coaching job by Brad!!!!!  Wow!!

I made that point earlier in the year in a thread i created about this.

This is unbelievable that we are on a winning streak despite getting screwed by the NBA calendar over the first 4 months...

The thing is, its not just rest but it's the fact that the other teams are cozy at home or at the hotel watching us play live and game-planning, watching our tendencies, reviewing the scouting reports, etc...

Days off mean more practice. This young team really hasn’t had much practice time together, making their streak all the more remarkable.

Maybe you count rest differently than I do, but the Nets played yesterday (Saturday), and have Sunday and Monday off before our game Tuesday, so I’d call that two days of rest.

You're going to have a tough time talking Smitty out of this, he's at 30 exclamation points and counting for the thread so far.

Edit: 32, I didn't include the two in the thread title.

I call it playing 3 days after you finished your previous game!!

Anyways, the idea is too many of our opponents are home resting, game planning, watching us play live... 5 times in a row is way too much I think!! (Not sure another team in the NBA will have a stretch on their schedule of 5 opponents in a row coming of 3 days (or 2 days) of rest!! This is insane!!

Days off mean more practice. This young team really hasn’t had much practice time together, making their streak all the more remarkable.

The craziest part is we're not riding veterans through this either. Lots of the young fellas getting important PT during this stretch. That's the part impressing me the most, the young guys seemed locked in on what they need to be doing to help this team win.

Very few deer in the headlight looks. I'm wondering if this is just a great group of rookies or if Brad learned something from the Young/Hunter combo.
ok fine
