What makes this early start so unique was Brads ability to find the right mix without Morris and Hayward. The rookies have stepped up admirably. The second half of OKC game, Morris showed just what the Celts needed, vet scoring and defense.Jayson has terrific but still slender and Morris has  that man strength and tough guy defensive reputation.
Brad started him in second half and he was also in there at crunch time. That will not be lost by Morris
I believe that Morris is going to be a key catalyst as well as add to brads optionality.
This acquisition by Danny will make it easier to swallow the loss of Bladley, along with wholesale change in roster

How GOOD could Morris become with Brad .Kyrie and Hortord?

Baynes has been a revelation for most Celtics fans, i can't remember a center like this!!
Outside the Giannis midair collision Baynes has hardly been budged when using his vertical wall.
I hope this doesn't become a trap game tonight

Roster construction is so important with the management of playing time and resting players.Injuries play a big part, always did but more so with the facing multiple superstar teams.
I remember pictures of Celtics wounded in playoffs bandaged thighs ,limping  held together with  yards of tape and playing 40 minutes.
So now in modern era of time management, with exception of Lebron the other night to prove a point and motivate. Our 2nd team plays a huge role in an overlong the regular season

The team culture that Brad employs and his player management skills are perfect for having a deep team -Keeping players always ready to contribute and feeling important.
The Celtics with Red pioneered the 6th man, elevating its status But today you can have a very good first team and a great 2nd team and that 2nd team is the difference in winning

As far as the 2nd team goes I like how Brad is taking Tatum out early to reinsert him with the 2nd team to try to get him to become the scorer for that unit.  Tommy explained that the other night.  Hope it works out because scoring from the 2nd team is an Achilles Heel.
