So the diagnosis is "scapula muscle imbalance" without structure damage
(Its a malfunction of muscle coordination presented by muscle tightness/weakness and structure misalignment , in his case most likely caused by inappropriate weight training)

The interest part is it's not rare nor hard to diagnose especially for a pro athlete, so why all the drama and him playing with this problem (their medical team can't be THAT bad..).

So that make you wonder if it's more a "you know something is wrong because there are symptoms but all the tests showed nothing wrong" situation(the need for them to reach for multiple experts and the malfunction diagnosis correlate with it), which, in some worse case, may not be easily treated by standard physical therapy

Sixers probably trying multiple treatment now and to see how much it improves during the 3 weeks, if it doesn't go well then they may have a real problem

He ll be good to go at age 21 ,  normally takes 76 ers picks couple years of rehab to begin a career.

Sounds like he'll have to rebuild that shot from scratch. No matter which shooting form he plans to pursue. Nothing like learning how to shoot at age 19..
Don't worry Markelle, I started at the same age and 10 years later, I'm deadly in my rec league

Fultz could be an awesome player but some things are adding up when looking at the big picture of his career.  His knees appear hyperextended so when he stands it looks like his legs are bending the wrong way.  Then we have the knee soreness that caused him to be shut down last year.  I believe he had some ankle trouble in the preseason or summer league.  Now the shoulder.   Any one of those things is no big deal but that’s quite a list for the last several months.  There seems to be a pattern of not being able to stay healthy.

Based on that short workout video I saw, I'm not at all surprised. Those clean and jerks looked awful.

This situation is extremely bizarre and there is no clear explanation. With that said, if you ask me the most likely one is this: Fultz started feeling discomfort in his shoulder and brought it to the attention to the Sixers' medical staff. The Sixers then told him nothing was structurally wrong, and that they expected him to play. So Fultz and his agent relented, even as he didn't feel physically right, but that he would change his form and not attempt any jumpshots as a way to shine the light on the organization and cast it, rather than Fultz, as the stubborn party. If that was in fact the strategy then it worked, given the media attention on the situation and the fact that people are now talking once again about Sixers' history of mis-managing injuries.
