so far so good..

two of the biggest concerns look to have dramatically improve so far this season..
Lack of 2nd/3rd chance points literally killed this team last year.
Last night for instance Mil only generated 2 offensive rebounds.. been mostly consistent through 5 games..
Baynes has been such a huge pickup, Al looks more comfortable..Brown picked up Bradley's production.. Rozier and Smart are lethal off the bench .. but wait until Morris gets back .. He will incorporate a "tougher culture" ...

With Baynes and Brown and Tatum and Rozier, we are out rebounding everybody.

Tatum has really helped improve the rebounding too. I knew he was supposed to be a good rebounder for his position, but watching him over the first 5 games I can see that he doesn't just get "empty" team rebounds. He beats guys to rebounds with his length and anticipation.

We’re 5th in the NBA in defensive rebounding.  We’ll see if that holds as the season progresses, but so far I find that to be the biggest turnaround from prior years.  It’s definitely been a team effort too, with 6 players averaging more than 5 rebounds per game (last year only 3 did so).

The benefit of going from a rather small team to suddenly a pretty long team by turning over most of the rotation.

Kryie/Brown is a huge length upgrade in the backcourt and depending on who the 5th starter is its an upgrade there as well. Heck its not like Smart hurts the team's rebounding when he's been in as the SG. He always gets an absurd amount of contested rebounds for a guard his size.
