Marcus can be a bully. Jealousy.

Yes and that was a blatant offensive foul

Brown should have just flopped...

Brown needs to dunk on smart

As much as I like smart the guy is a classic bullies towards rookies/younger players

Cant even shoot over 40 percent

This is good. This happens on any good basketball team. Jaylen needs a little bit of that edge. As a SF, he will definitely have to defend guys bigger than Smart who will be happy to knock him on his butt and not have a nice discussion about it afterwards.

I agree with triboy that Jaylen should have dunked on Smart after that play, not walked off the court.

Also: Since when is this considered a fight? I (think) I saw them both flash smiles. Smart relishes in the competition. Jaylen seemed to try to dismiss it and go, "That was a charge, hahaha." When Smart laughed at that, Jaylen walked away. This is one teammate helping toughen up another.

We need a little more Amar'e Stoudemire and a little less Shane Battier out of Jaylen.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
they were fine after, and played 1v1 where Smart pulled off a nice hesitation dribble crossover on Jaylen and then scored the layup- he then proceeded to taunt Jaylen loudly around the entire practice courts, in front of the entire team and coaching staff, who were grinning and smirking whilst keeping an eye on the physical side of things. Two young dawgs trying to assert dominance over another and going hard in practice.

I LOVE this stuff and it what you need to breed these young pups into tough, competitive, alpha players that don't like being shown up. It's about pride and earning respect and Marcus is making and letting Jaylen earn respect in front of the whole team.

More please.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Can anyone post a link to Jaylen:

A. Getting angry
B. Arguing a call
C. Smiling during a game, or during a bad call
D. Talking to a teammate for an extended period

This emotional intensity is what I want to see. Sometimes I wish Paul and KG retired here...

If you have a problem with this the odds are very very high that youve never played sports in your life. This is standard stuff at every level.

I Love Marcus man. Stuff like this. Exactly the type of guy you want on your team.
