What a joke. I wouldn't give anything else except maybe a 2nd-round pick, but even that's too much, in my opinion. The Cavs can take a hike.

reading that IT4 camp no longer wants to play for the Celtics (not surprising)

link?
Well it's good that his camp doesn't have to play for us then.

New gm in Cleveland. Why not ask for the moon? In a negotiation, I would ask for a lot too. Danny is committed to getting Kyrie and Cleveland should be committed to getting the BKN pick. Neither club wants to come out of this without their new asset.

Danny- be patient. don't overpay, but don't get caught up over a less than important first rounder or two. Terry Rozier and a pick- something like that.
The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.

Shouldn't you be providing the link if you're reading it?

This is an absolute joke. No way on earth Danny gives up Tatum or Brown like they're suggesting. If a second round pick or two will do it then fine, but any discussion of another player or a first rounder added I tell them to bite me and undo the deal. No way they're going to get a better package than what is in the current package. Bite me Cleveland!

Because negotiations were already over and they submitted a trade in which they already got the [dang] moon!

Coming back to ask for more like this is going to really hurt the new GMs rep around the league. Not the way you want to start off your NBA career as a GM.

Cavs board are all talking like Tatum or brown is. Done deal.  Acting like they have Boston over a barrel because other teams like Detroit are waiting in the wings to get kyrie.  I can't stand Cavs fans and will definitely visit their boards when LBJ leaves for nothing and they recind the trade nd get less then Indy did for george

Worst fan base in the league - yes, worse than Laker fans - and it's not even close. If/when LeBron leaves again, 95% of their fans won't attend or watch a single game, and that message board will be a ghost town.

Exactly. They already got more than any other team would've given them. I'll be upset with Ainge if we give them anything more than a second rounder, and even that is unnecessary IMO.

I guess it's now a question of which FO is willing to walk away. That's where the power is.

It'll be the Celtics.
