He has it calmed down .....for your average persons day .  He can go all day , play with kids , shop , do chores , maybe golf or jog on a machine .   Fine.

IT has those crazy lateral , side step , herkie jerkie moves , off balance leaning to one side moves ....move he needs for a 5 -9'player to get open .   These will do him in at full speed blasting down court .

I just don't know how he can play defense at all.  Trying to,stay in front of somebody with this imjury .

For average person he is probably ok with what he has .   Low impact sports .

Brinks Truck effort is going to mess him up in the long haul I predict ....according to my PT wife of 30 years professional or rehabing sports people. .

I thought his questionable hip was already factored into the trade. Cleveland gets nothing more.
Success is a measure of over-achievement.

I believe the prognosis on the hip was about 50-50.

IT didn't want to be operated on this year, with his brinks truck on the horizon. Players don't sign Max deals from a hospital bed.

So he figured he'd try to successfully play this year without the surgery, and then try for the Max deal, and use it to rest his head on while being operated on in the future.

I think he should have had the surgery back in May. Fix it once and for all. But if the Celtics doctors (who have been poor in the past) advised him to just rest and it is worse than expected...then what a mess

I thought the Celtics doctors wanted him to have the surgery but he went to his own doctor who said he didn't need surgery or art least to try resting it first.
I believe IT was afraid if he missed two months then got of to a slow start he would loss our on his max contract, so he needed to start the season even if it ment playing with pain.

According to the latest tweets, this is how the C's front office sees it, too.

The candle that burns twice as bright, sigh. He burned up like the sun for one epic season, and it ruined his hip. Isaiah is becoming the most tragic player in the league.
