This is a situation where Cleveland is shaking down an organization that is considered wealthy, strictly when speaking about draft picks. They're having second thoughts. (A telling sign to me is I haven't heard LeBron welcome IT with open arms yet to the Cavs.)
There is NO WAY the Cavs would have traded Kyrie for IT under normal circumstances. By Kyrie demanding a trade, he put them in a terrible position. They have to be bitter, and now realize IT isn't going to start the season healthy, and there is a suspicion he will never be the same player as last year.
If IT comes back to only 85-90% of what he was., we got a steal.
IMO Put up a good argument...in the end give a small compensation to them to get this done.
