Both 225 pounds, Barnes an inch taller. Both great athletes advantage Brown. Both weak passers. Barnes like Brown stuck behind a stack roster and was no better than a fourth option. Barnes didn't break out until arriving at Dallas he scored 19.2 ppg with them, but avg about 13 ppg with Warriors.

 Per 36 rookie year

 Barnes 13.1 ppg 5.8 rpg 1.7 APG .9 spg 1.8 to 3.3 FTA

 Brown 13.8 ppg 5.9 rpg 1.7 APG .9 spg 1.8 to 3.3 FTA

Barnes shot better from three and Ft%, Brown has the better FG% and TS%

Interesting. Barnes is pretty legit IMO. Maybe not franchise player material but very good.

Don't think Barnes ever had that Kobe work ethic though...Jaylen is crazy, kid fasts on water periodically and wakes up at 5 am to train. Imo that desire will make him into a better player than Barnes.
