People are big time sleeping on Morris. Not sure why, maybe it's Detroit & they don't watch, or just generally hurt because of Avery, who knows ?

I've wanted him since Phoenix and am so happy to have him. Far better than Olynyk/Jerebko combo. Huge upgrade and durable.

Yeah, the Detroit offense was terrible.  Morris shot 33.1% from 3, which was actually just higher than the team average of 33.0%.  They had the third-lowest assist-percentage in the league, ahead of only the also terrible Phoenix offense, and the Raptors, who can somehow get away with playing 90s isolation ball in 2017.

Morris will be used completely differently in Boston.  Hopefully it will be to both his and the team's benefit.

God help us if Marcus Smart or Jaylen Brown is asked to guard a 5.

Smart shut Porzingis down for a quarter after he went off in the first half. I thought Stevens had lost his mind starting Smart the second half and had him guard some one a foot taller. Zinger kept trying to get a post position, and Smart would push him back up past the foul line.

So in some cases Smart can guard 5's, and yes Zinger is a 5 like KG was, they just don't tell them. LOL
