I saw problems with Mickey having trouble holding his ground in the post against grown men.  He needs to work on his core strength.  I did see some talent, and he can still possibly be a stretch big.  Hope he lands on his feet somewhere.

And somewhere, triboy is in mourning hoping beyond hope that Mickey will eventually fulfill his potential someplace other than the G League.

Don't worry, triboy.  If Mickey clears waivers, the team can sign him to a minimum salary deal with the exact same terms as the contract he was just released from, so his time in Boston might not be over yet!

I wasn't a big fan of the initial signing. He just didn't have the size to be an NBA center.

But, I have to say he was a great teammate and never complained about the lack of playing time. This must have been tough to take given the difficulty the Celtics had on the boards.

Only wish he was 6 inches taller and that he had a chance to show off his jumper. It didn't translate in Brad's system.

I hope he hooks on with another team, He is a competitor.

Poor Triboy. He spent endless hours on Mickey. From hyping him up, to blaming Stevens and his "hidden agenda" for not playing him. The road to recovery is long, but hopefully Triboy bounces back quickly and can continue do what he does best (i.e. overrating fringe prospects).

Yeah, it's all Brad Stevens fault! Get a coach that knows how to develop young players and this wouldn't happen!!!

Jaylen Brown will be an All Star in the next 5 years.

  • Peace it's a board. We all will never agree.
I think he will get a shot with an NBA team. IMO Maybe not this year because of spots drying up. Maybe Houston will give him a minimum.
