Complete offensive arsenal. Find me another guard prospect as polished in as many areas as Markelle. I'm not sure that player exists.

There are a few in this draft.  In terms of offensive polish
There simply just aren't.

Markelle Buckets!

What or who are YOU sold on...???
Always here starting threads bashing our players.

1). I haven't been on here for about 90-95% of the season, but you obviously know much more than I do about my own posting habits or whatever, and 2). I've done nothing of the sort.  In fact, I rarely make threads at all, and if you're referring to the one about Zizic and his prospective trade value, that's not even remotely similar to "bashing our players," but you know best.

If you don't like Celtics players go cheer for players you like...
Fultz will be a Celtics (don't mess up Dany!) And will be a very good Celtics player (that I'm sure you will find ways to bash as usual...)

No player is perfect! We roll with ours...

I'm assuming that he will be "a Celtics," as well, and I hope you're right about him.  Really, I do.  I'm just not on the bandwagon yet, so to speak, hence the purpose of this thread, and as for "bashing" the guy, I understand that he just turned 19, plus we already have a logjam at the guard spots, but yes, I do have high expectations for a number one overall pick, although I do expect his impact/role to increase over time as long as he doesn't exhibit the lack of a motor that he showed far too often in college, especially on defense, which is how he's going to get on the court, anyway, as everyone knows.

I just bumped they other thread Fultz Videos for you beat la

TP.  Thanks :).

I have concerns about his attitude, intangibles and willingness to play defense.  Physically, I think he is fine.

I share your concerns, but I'm also worried about that knee.  Just wish that I knew more, like everyone else :-\.

Big Baller Brand

Lol, TP ;D.

Hi everyone :). As all of you know, I'm a little slow, but at the same time, I'm apparently not alone in not being all aboard the Fultz train, so to speak, and as such I'm curious to know what, well, sold you on the guy.  So go ahead - convince me (as well as the rest of the doubters).  Is there a particular performance and/or highlight video that I should watch, etc?  Feel free to post them here, if you want.  Thanks :).
i originally preferred jackson to fultz, and jackson may yet prove to be the better nba player.

but what finally convinced me about fultz' ability to becomes an outstanding nba player were the discussions over on SoSH. Here are some links to that thread and and some of the videos/reports they discussed:

Wow, thank you so much :) - TP.  Looks like I have some reading and watching to do :).

Fultz has it all. He's so good offensively you don't even ask about defense. You only ask about defense if a kid can't shoot. He can shoot. And he's a PG--brings the ball up , and can distribute, shoot or go to the basket. A longer version of IT, which makes him better.

I think most, if not all, basketball coaches would at least dispute that.

I believe Ball will come out of the gate firing up the league with his style of play. There will be posts on this thread after the first month of the season saying Ainge blew the draft by not selecting Ball and taking Fultz. Folks like a Beat LA will be leading the charge. Like they were with the Jaylen Brown pick.

But then Fultz will start to earn more minutes, as he learns the offensive and defensive rotations. There will be glimmers of his greatness. He will slowly emerge as a stellar scorer and play maker. May not happen until season 2 or 3. The kid was 18 until a couple of weeks ago for goodness sake.

But starting around year 3, when the Ball buzz has worn off, it will be clear why Fultz was the number 1 pick. He will be averaging over 20 ppg, getting 7-8 assists, and grabbing 5-6 rebounds a game.

And the Danny Doubters will have to find another player to criticize Ainge on. Probably the 2018 Nets pick.

That's how it works here on Celticsblog.

😁😂

Yeah, I'm not sold on Ball, either, but whatever you say ::)

And yes, I do understand that his impact will probably be less than other lottery picks to start, given our backcourt situation atm.  I also apologized for wanting Kris Dunn, btw, in case you missed it, but don't let that get in the way of how you evidently perceive me.

I can see an argument for jayson Tatum. No one else is close.

Well he said...find me another guard prospect

Fultz has higher potential .... But not considering age/potential ... Derrick White and Juwan Evans are two pgs that showed off high level "offensive polish" last season.  Stats (3pt, assist/turnover, advanced stats (PNR) etc.

Derrick White is going to be 23 this summer and only averaged 18 points a game and has a 6'7" wingspan. It's JAWUN EVANS and he's 5'11" . Really? These are two second rounders.... Kobi Simmons?

I love Jawunna Mann.  Why do you think he'll be a second rounder?
