The amount of picks we have already is overwhelming - moving that for 2 picks in the lottery, two players and three future picks is an absolute nightmare to try and manage. We would run out of roster space.
Now is not the time to further prolong a legit shot at contending. What I mean by that is that it's unlikely that any of those future picks net us a player on Fultz's level, AND we'd be waiting even more years before we even got them.

Yeah if you ignore our cap space, developing a top 3 pick and also acquiring the best guard prospect since 2007, we definitely aren't.
