Cavs played 8 easy games coming in, we played 13 tough ones.  That's a testament to how good they are, but it's hard to think that doesn't matter.

TP...you got the number right. ;) (Man, I'm losing it......when I say that to my wife, she busts my chops and tells me you can't lose something you never had...haha...funny woman)

(Every team is more banged up than they let on)
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
Not that it would have mattered much, but the one day off between series' was a little lame since they had like a week off for the finals.

IT had his teeth knocked out, his hip was injured, and his sister died.
Bradley and Brown were hurt as well.
Cleveland was bigger and stronger and better than us.
We need to get bigger and stronger and better.

Who isn't banged up? It's the playoff.
Exactly my reaction.

All I see is Danny showing some pride to the players he loves.

The Celtics were bruised and battered during their run through the playoffs, with Isaiah Thomas, Avery Bradley, and Jaylen Brown all dealing with hip injuries. But president of basketball operations Danny Ainge said those three were not alone.

Forward Al Horford was playing through an elbow injury and guard Marcus Smart was suffering from significant back spasms. Neither ailment is expected to require offseason surgery, Ainge said, but he added that the two certainly played through pain.

“Guys just gutted it out,” he said.

If it was the Bulls or the Wizards saying the same thing after losing to the Celtics, what would the response on this blog be?

Everyone has issues in the playoffs, Ainge listing them off like a laundry lists just comes off like excuses are being made for the poor performance.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner
