We didn't close the half well, and Jaylen had an idiotic foul on Mahinmi shooting a three to cap it off, so I would hope there was some yelling.

So jaylen and smart ??

Just went and rewatched the 2nd quarter, I would bet it was between Isaiah and Crowder.  Watch them arguing on this play:

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

Not sure what Thomas is yapping about. It's not the type of shot I want them to take, but Thomas himself chucks about half a dozen of them a game.

As long as they're able to let it go, I'm glad our guys are chipping at each other even with a 16 point lead. The game was huge and we needed to step on their necks as early as possible. Guys should be fired up and holding each other accountable.

I'd be more worried if things like this didn't happen.

Despite what fans concoct in their own minds, I've never been associated with a successful team where there weren't conflicts - personality and the like. If there aren't, your team may be too soft or too apathetic to win.

And if you have good leaders, it's no big deal.

good points.
LET'S GO CELTICS!

I like that there's a fire to keep getting better with a lead. If they're bickering when they're down it's more of a problem because that's when you need guys to come together the most.

Or if the bickering had spilled over on to the court, it would've been a problem but the fact that they came out and had a pretty good 3rd quarter and closed the game well says to me these are just passionate guys working things out.

Was thinking that it had to be between IT and Crowder based on that exchange right before the end of the half.  I know Crowder got us going in that first quarter but his hero ball 3 shots are driving me nuts!  Go to the basket Jae and stop settling for long range jumpers.

Yes, agree. I think in this case it's exactly what was needed, a good sign actually. The edginess has been lacking the entire series to some extent. It's why things weren't looking so good prior to last night.

It's not a birthday party. They're gonna need to bring some more of it to the next game, which won't be easy. I'm betting they will.

Jaylen's foul on Mahinmi was in the second half.
No it was actually at the end of the 1st half.

No, it actually wasn't.  1 second left in the 3rd quarter according to the game log.

I just remembered the Wizards were shooting at the left hoop on the TV, and they started the game at the right hoop, but that meant it was the second half.

Yeah, we were up 20 and then Mahinmi hit all 3 FT's, cutting the lead down to 17, which annoyed me because we were only up 16 at halftime, and we played well in the 3rd, felt like we deserved a bigger margin heading into the 4th.
