  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Getting Markelle Fultz under control for 7 or 8 years would be one of the biggest acquisitions for this franchise in the last 25 years.
Having him and Jaylen/Smart/Rozier would be amazing.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Preparing for the worst.

Every 10 years or so, this franchise gets a kick in the groin on lottery night.

The worst is 4th, but more importantly, the worst being 4th usually involves enduring 6 months of godawful basketball first.

And the top four of this draft are exciting.

Couldn't have said it any better imo Markelle is even going to be a step above Kyrie and Wall (comparing their rookie seasons) if he gets an opportunity to play 30 plus minutes

He reminds me more of James Harden. He's a better shooter than Wall was at that age and more of a pure scorer. Wall has slowly improved his scoring but it's not really his main focus. In terms of distributing Wall will probably always be better.

Irving is similar in that they're both scorers, but he's not as athletic and he doesn't play above the rim, also partially due to being shorter. He's probably a better pure shooter than Fultz will be, though Fultz could make it close. Fultz's 65% FT is a little concerning though.

Wyc is representing the Celtics on stage

someone is representing the team inside the room where draw is done, and a different person is on the stage.  Wonder if the Celtics will have Danny in the room with the drawing

BBall breakdown noted CJ McCollum similarities.

that's the thing that worries me the most. playing time.
PG/SG/SF = 148 min
PG - IT-32 min Smart-8 min, Fultz-8min
SG- Bradley-32 min, Smart-10min, Fultz-6 min
SF-Crowder-30 min, Brown- 14 min - Smart/Fultz 4 min

and i havent mentioned Rozier.
I think we should trade Terry and Crowder, i just don't see another way...
