I can imagine the Celtics first unit of

IT
Bradley
Crowder
Horford
Johnson

going against the 2nd unit of

Smart
Brown
Green
Jerebko
Zeller

Who wins a seven game series if they go all out!!!!

does this mean our bench is not as good as we think it is?

Don't you want your bench to be able to at least take one game from your starters in a 7 game series?

No Olynyk?

Preseason I remember hearing the 2nd unit was kicking the starter's butts.

What good teams is that true of?

It was probably the case last season.

Last seasons IT - Smart
Last seasons AB - (Rozier I guess? he didnt really play)
Last seasons Jae - Turner
Amir - Jerebko
Sully - KO

vs
Improved IT- Smart (slightly improved)
Improved AB - Rozier
Improved Jae - JB
Amir - Jerebko
Horford - KO

So you are saying we have finally arrived. We actually have an NBA caliber starting five that is head and shoulder over its bench. That is a good place to be.

On the second unit ahead of Zeller.  He's playing starter minutes as it is.
