That is interesting, but with the way Smart is playing I'd keep him in the starting lineup. Doing so would allow Bradley to be our 6th man, which could give us more fire power off the bench.

Random note on the BS podcast


If you haven't heard the recent one with Kevin Durant go take a listen! It's great makes me hate KD a lot less... somewhere in the middle he says a couple things about the fans which makes me think he's very salty towards NBA fans which I find disappointing because without the fans there would be millions to make!

I agree with Grande, and I think Galinari may be that guy. Alec Burks is also ripe for the picking having fallen behind on the depth chart in Utah.

Meh.  I like Grande very much, but frankly I find his speculation to be no more authoritative than average CB posters, like me.  Here's two examples:

What if that kind of scorer was also a big man who could rebound and defend a bit? (say, Okafor).  Wouldn't that be a better way to fill ALL the team needs?

Here's another idea: Do nothing at the deadline.  Save all your eggs (and cap space) and sign a big time FA in the offseason (say, Griffin).

I think he's dead on right.  This team does seem to be lacking a consistent bench scorer.  Something that I think they're going to need come playoff time.   A microwave type or a create his own shot type.

i think brown remains in the starting lineup when both he and bradley are healthy and bradley becomes the bench scorer.

Gerald Green is a player who can give you 15 points in ten minutes against any defender. Had he been given as many minutes as Evan Turner, his offensive numbers would be great. I think a rebounder is much more needed.
