Those early 70s teams had a lot of scoring balance. '72-73: Havlicek 23.8 ppg, Cowens 20.5 ppg, White 19.7 ppg, Silas 13.3 ppg, Chaney 13.1 ppg, Nelson 10.8 ppg.  Six guys averaged double figures scoring for the season!

The leading rebounders were Cowens 16.2 rpg and Silas 13.0 rpg. Many of Silas rebounds were offensive--he played inside, while many of Cowens' were defensive--he played outside a lot on offense, hitting those jumpers from the key. A great combination. They lost that when Silas got traded at the end of the 75-76 season. I believe for Curtis Rowe and Sydney Wicks? That didn't work out.
