sully finally out of walking boot  for christmas still another month
turner averaging 9.3 pts 4 rebounds 3 assists in 25minutes-off a shade from celts figures
rondo benched for poor play and possibly being bought out-
rj hunter waived by Chicago
looks like danny dodged blowback from these moves
but sully could come back and haunt the celts later in season and playoffs
a well rested sully with attitude-watch out

I would bet against that.   He has missed half the season, they are a nice team.  We know he can rebound, but I bet his shot is still suspect, yet he will think he is the equal of DeRozan and chuck bad shots.  He has looked rusty in the pass when he has been playing.  Hard to think that he won't look rusty coming back.  All we have to do, is up the pace and he will struggle and drive on him on offense, he will quit eventually, it is what he does.

KO may be the next one to go, if he does not get his act together, unique skillsets are nice but you have to produce and not wilt every time you miss your first shot.

Ainge always said Sully is very talented. Its his weight and long term health that were concerns, and so far those have proven to be valid concerns. If a guy his age can't get into reasonable shape on his contract year you can't invest long term in him.

Sully will never haunt the Celtics.  He's just not that good.   Even if he one day gets in shape,  that makes him what  - a shorter, less skilled, lower IQ version of Greg Monroe?

Not exactly as of we passed on a future superstar.

The only thing Sully might haunt is the buffet table.

Plus Horford will rip him apart.

Sully is literally the only guy on the Celtics playoff team last year that got consistently dominated by Horford in the paint.   Horford couldn't score against Amir or Jerebko, but whenever Sully defended him down low it was 2 points.
