So in the spirit of the Nerlens Noel trade conversations I thought I would pick another player as a trade target.

With John Wall being talked about as possibly being traded due to the underperforming of his team and his discontent at his current salary value I thought it would be fun to imagine a trade scenario for him with the Celtics.

Does this actually improve our team? Does it leave us open to do another major trade?

So please share your thoughts and any deals you think would work :)

Would have to think hard on this one.  Thomas and Bradley are inferior players to Wall, but together are probably more valuable than Wall alone.

I doubt this offer moves the needle much for the Wizards, though.  Bradley and Beal are sort of redundant and couldn't play together all that much.  This trade would likely make them a little bit worse than they already are, and it doesn't give them anything as far as assets to try and build their team for the future.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

I voted yes, but no way Washington does this as it wouldn't make sense for a Wall trade.  They will want to rebuild if they trade Wall.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

Keep Bradley. Trade Smart.

I do not like Smart + Wall together. A lack of jump-shooting.

No. They're a legit Center away from contention. Ainge has all the assets in the world to fill this spot either via trade or the draft.

Keep being patient, stay the course, keep developing, & jump on a big opportunity when it comes about (I.E. Cousins).

Wall isn't what they need. They need a rim protector and rebounder.

No way. John Wall is the most over rated player in modern NBA history. If im going to battle i rather have Isaiah, whose got the heart of a lion. Nothing ive ever heard or seen from Wall indicates he cares about winning. Hes like the Demarcus Cousins of PG's. Except Cousins isnt vastly over rated at his position.

Wall Smart is great defensively but you need way more shooting.
