IT, Bradley and Horford are all top 10 players at their respective positions right now.  They are also chipping in in a variety of ways.  Not many people saw Bradley's jump in rebounding but that is what he is doing.  IT is also the catalyst as we spread the floor and creates off the dribble.  Right now we are surrounding these guys with players like Crowder, Amir, Smart, Rozier, KO who all bring  different things to the table and we have a guy like Jaylen who can develop into that kind of player.

The way I see it is what kind of players do we want to round out this roster.  We went after Durant but he's long gone.  There are players like Noel who have the ability to contribute in different ways but have maturity issues.  There are stars like Cousins who have issues in other ways.  Plus guys like Bogut who are more experienced but are more one or two dimensional in what they can contribute.

People in general get too hung up on what they think players are when I'm not sure they understand what we are trying to do here.

To me it's more about having those pieces and knowing when to do what.

Noel is also a more well rounded player than people give him credit for.  He's not boogie and lacks that bulk but can do a lot of different things. Both have maturity issues.  Bogut on the other hand is an experienced player who is fairly limited as far as what he is at this point.

Guys like George or Hayward obviously are no brainers because they are stars and do a lot of different things and can score and decent passers too.

Right now we have SF by committee and PF. These positions are a little less defined.  We have Crowder doing what he does and Jaylen who can come in and is developing.  KO can range out.  Amir can do some things.  We have Zizic and Yab stashed and  Jerebko who is kind of a jack of all trades.  Plus Green and Young who give us a little more offense.  Rozier is really that right now but is developing and a bit erratic himself right now.  So is Smart in other ways.

Horford is a capable rebounder but is better served night in and night out doing other things.  Bradley is showing his ability in other ways.  It's more about when to do what both on the floor and as far as moves and for who.

We also have to let some of these guys develop.  It's the system in place though.  It's a good one too.   Right now we have Rozier as that guy to come in and give us a boost but he's a bit erratic right now.  So is Smart.  Even KO can be that way but establishing when to do what is what it's all about and having the pieces to do that. Jaylen is still a kid.

IT and Horford have only been together for 20 games or so.  Bradley is chipping in in a variety of ways.

This team is a little bit boring because we lack those superstars. We also lack that guy like Pierce who's been here since day one but we also don't.

The Celtics of old had those pieces then went out and got those missing pieces.  We just got those pieces in ways.  Ainge had to tear down the last regime and put the foundation in place hiring Brad and getting these guys.  The foundation is here though.

Rebounding is a bit of  a concern but it's also not as these guys learn when to do what and we get those pieces to put us over the top.

We lack that extra scorer and star in ways but again we are just starting to get going.

The internet is funny sometimes is all because I'm not sure many understand this. It's a team game.  It about when to do what. I'm such a team player lol. I do understand this though.
