I think an interesting narrative that is being overlooked atm, is the Clippers current situation. If they were to fall early again in the playoffs this season something drastic may happen. Both Blake Griffin & Chris Paul have player options this offseason which will be denied to either resign on better deals or possibly leave for a better shot at a title.

The Clippers have essentially mortgaged their future on winning a title now. They owe; 2017 first round draft pick to Toronto, 2017 second round draft pick to us, 2018 second round draft pick to Philadelphia or New York, 2019 first round draft pick to us again. Their best role player JJ Redick is also off-contract and the others are on the wrong side of 30, it isn't impossible to fathom that Griffin or Paul may jump ship to a more prosperous situation, along with Doc Rivers as we all know is too good to rebuild  ::)

Do you think either Griffin or Paul may leave, if so do we have a chance at either?

What do you mean IF the Clippers fail again? ;D
There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, 'Thy will be done,' and those to whom God says, 'All right, then, have it your way.'

You don't have a soul. You are a Soul. You have a body.

If they weren't free agents, I think LAC would trade one of them. Probably Blake Griffin given the on-court chemistry between C-Paul and D-Jordan. But being FAs, I think LAC will go all out to keep those two together. That leaves D.Jordan who would be difficult to trade while improving the team. So most likely forced to keep the trio together for another year.

As a FA, I don't know if either player can find a better home elsewhere than LAC. Playing with two legit stars to form a Big Three would be hard for other teams to better. I don't know who has cap space this summer but it's hard for me to see a team offering either one of those guys a better situation than what they already have in LAC.

Exactly.

Their losing to the Nets is all that you have to know (and hate) about that "team."

Very true, but by fail I mean if they are eliminated in the first or second round of Playoffs then especially someone like Chris Paul who will be 32 next year has to be thinking about his options. They have to resign Griffin, Paul, Redick all on more money and somehow improve which can't happen because they have maxed out their cap and Pierce will most probably retire and Crawford will be 37.

Something has to give

Hm Chris Paul to the bulls sounds like an interesting scenario. Paul, Wade and Butler could do some damage, but they would have to add other pieces to contend.

I could easily see Paul to Bulls happening, I wouldn't be surprised if Griffin went to OKC given he's from Oklahoma and went to college there, Thunder have Adams who is very similar to Jordan in his role and most importantly they have trade pieces and cap room.
