Wasn't he drafted top 5 or 6? Considering the Kings suck as an organization and the kid wants to be traded, he might have some potential with a decent coach. I know Ainge would have drafted him if he dropped a couple more notches. He was viewed as a defensive big.
I think the Kings made a mistake drafting another big, unless they had plans to trade Cousins. Which could still happen. The bigs tend to go off the board first, without much basis for need.
The CSN story as of tonite is "they want to keep him for now." That's a reversal of earlier in the day. No wonder he wants to be traded.
I'd give a non lottery #1 for him and/or Rozier. Those mid range draft picks Ainge has drafted haven't amounted to much. You have to get into the lottery to get somebody decent.
