Stevens clearly has an arsenal of talent to choose from. He likes to go ten deep, but maybe there is heavy competition at the rotation's bubble.

Those guys will need to seize every opportunity. They need to be Phil Pressey and be able to play well without any wake up alerts about playing time.

A lot will boil down to how players perform. David Lee was the starter, then he ended up in the Siberian region of the deep bench.

I've decided to up my prediction game and claim 65 wins and the #1 seed. They do not have the pure talent of KG, Paul and Ray, but it's close enough. The team might be deeper today over then. I think the Celtics will gel early and often with many easy wins.

And I will ignore wet blankets who claim that every team outside of Golden State, Cleveland and possibly the Clippers is irrelevant.

I suppose if we're winning 65 games, I will go all in and predict the Celtics win their 18th title this season.

So it will be:
PG Rozier
SG Bradley
SF Smart
PF Brown
C Crowder

It's a bit risky IMO because (i) outside Rozier and Bradley all players will be out of their usual position and (ii) height: the tallest player will be Brown.

iirc last season (against PHX?), Stevens used Rozier, Bradley, Smart, Jerebko and Olynyk (Crowder was injured). IMO a small ball line-up of Rozier Bradley Smart Crowder and Olynyk might be fun, but even with that, defense in the paint will prolly be an issue.

I like our young guys.  We have Isaiah and Horford and then the dogs of war.  Terry, Smart, Bradley, Crowder, Brown.  I hope the Celtics don't get too ahead of themselves as far as making deals.  Amir and KO, Green and Jerebko too though.  That's 11 deep easy not even counting Mickey or Hunter in that.  Jackson and Zeller too. They are all dogs of war.

Quit being so negative. I'm predicting the Celtics will win two championships this season.

This is the lineup I'd hope to see most but won't because we even played Sully over Olynyk.
