Everyone here got caught up in the KD hype and even though we missed out on him (in a shocking, hypocritical turn of events), we need to remind ourselves that we are still in a GREAT position moving forward.

We don't need to "swing for the fences" via some irrational trade. We don't need to overpay for a middling free agent. We should not act as if we're contenders scrambling to squeeze whatever is left of an aging core. What we need DA to do is to stay the course, remain patient, and take calculated risks. That's how we got here today.

Yes, getting KD would've been awesome. But a contender doesn't have to be built overnight. Stay the course.

Just hope the picks are worth it. This year's pick was not worth very much. Those next two picks have to be worth it or fetch big returns

Deandre Ayton and Josh Jackson are gonna help us beat the GSW superteam in a few years

Yeah, I trust our FO to not do anything stupid....but you're right. Draft picks in the NBA are notoriously difficult to predict...and they often take time to develop.

We need to combine our draft picks with some other big moves. The Al Horford signing is a step in the right direction!
