Trading/signing for Westbrook and trading for cousins without giving up any player in the core of the celtics current roster.

Actually our team as constructed is set up very well to beat GS, especially with the addition of Horford - who owned Green and Bogut in their meetings with the Hawks last year...

Our problem is the Cavs, because today I feel we are better than all the teams we tied with for third last season

One of the young guys (like Smart) needs to make a quantum leap to match up with GSW consistently. But yes, the Cavs are troubling.

Now that the Warriors added KD35, who in the Celtics can lock him down or at least contain him?

Which players could do it better than Jae Crowder? Lebron and Kawhi for sure. Iguodala, Paul George probably. But who else? Durant is simply a nightmare in matchups

i still dnt see it.

IT, Westbrook, Crowder, Horford and Cousins are not better than Curry, Thompson, Iguodala, Durant, Green.

that lineup is a match up from hell. all 5 positions provide insane spacing. there is almost nothing u can do with that.

Irrespective of who the players are, perimeter defense is simply not an issue for this Celtics team. The problem is that our interior D was average at best. When we played the Hawks, Teague was in control. We played GS and gave them a solid run for their money each time. Our problem against the Hawks was Millsap and Horford... who now wears green.

one step at the time guys, we are still one superstar plus one igudala level player away from real contention level, ASW trade deadline will be interesting.

It feels as if you're looking at it through everyone staying the same. The first thing is that KD is not Klay and he will get annoyed at Steph coming down and heaving a 3 from halfcourt that goes in 40% of the time without him touching the ball. KD is accustomed to isolation ball, I've rarely seen him run off screens and play second fiddle on plays... it was always either he takes it or Westbrook. The scariest person in that lineup is Iggy, who is a defensive monster and may also be a cap casualty next year when Curry wants the max.

Our current team can match up quite well and have matched up to GS well in the past. I would even be comfortable with KO marking KD, if Horford is protecting the rim.

Green cannot mark Horford, it's a matchup nightmare for him. In their two matchups Horford had 17pts 9reb. and 23pts 16reb.

  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
We only need two superstars, because we already have one superstar in place, along with an another Allstar in Horford.

Paul George and DMC, or Westbrook/DMC could certainly give Warriors a run for their money.

It's based on your perspective, quite simply
We're the same and we're not; know what I'm saying? Listen
Son, I ain't better than you, I just think different

golden state will beat golden state-all the showboating will replace the grit of working to win, superstars  stop being hungry
just like durant putting himself with a ready made team
there will be players like marcus or acvery or chrowder  diving for loose balls, busting into screens, playing at 110%
there is only one ball -human nature and injuries will beat san francisco
it will be an east coast team that beats them-a hungary ,gritty young team
