You guys do realize that Ainge said a deal for Butler on draft day was never close and the Jazz have told teams Hayward is not available.  If the 3rd overall pick can't net you Butler, chances are not great unless you are returning a proven player.

I think we see Jerebko and Amir back. And perhaps Sully back on a sweet on year deal, per another poster's suggestion.

Sully comes back on the QO or he does not come back, people are not knocking at his door.  How many headlines you seen about times wanting his services?   ZERO.  There is no need for a sweet deal when other teams do not want him.

I still think we should release him and cut our losses.   Rather sign someone who can play better like Zaza and last the whole year.

I've always been a fan of Zaza. I like that idea. Plus he's more of a true C.

Bring Amir and Jonas back and sign Pau to a 1+1 deal so as to keep our cap space for next season open and ready to be used.

Try really hard to trade for Butler.

If not, try and trade for Boogie/Noel.

If not, retain Amir and JJ and let Sully and Zeller walk.

Keep Amir Johnson and Jonas Jerebko.

Sign Terrence Jones.

Use MLE on a guy like Roy Hibbert.

Ultimately add size and bigs who can rebound. Take a chance on Hibbert unless "someone better" is available with the MLE.

I don't think we make it to game 1 without a trade.

Well, I'd say structure things for another max spot next summer so we can try again for Durant or maybe Hayward if Durant isn't available.

Sign Gasol for one year if we can at however much he wants and we can fit.

Depends if he resigns on a 1 + 1 deal with OKC we would be best to keep cap flexibility for him next season, but if he signs for GSW i'd say throw everything at Cousins.

Hayward has a player option next season also and I would bet he declines it and would love to work with Stevens again.

Go after Paul George or Cousins.
