That is a lot of money and years for a 35-year-old who at this point is nothing more than a streak shooter.

Doc made a terrible mistake in trying to recreate the Celtics in LA with DeAndre as Perk and Redick as Ray Allen.  That just crippled his ability to do anything with the roster.

With A.Rivers getting $12 million a year, J.Crawford should be getting at least $20mil per.

I thought those were good decisions. It has been his horrible job selecting role players in the starting SF and throughout the bench that has crippled LAC. Which is a shame because their core guys are up there with the best in the league.

DeAndre is not good enough to be the third best player on a title team.  He's a great rebounder and shot blocker but isn't a great overall defender and awful on offense.  Yeah, he gets a lot of dunks but can't do anything else and why does everyone forget about the obsession with "spacing" when it comes to him?  Redick is a decent two-guard but 4th best player on a title team?

If Doc didn't tie up so much of his cap with those two, he might have been able to get better role players or maybe swap DeAndre for a better third star.

Chances they're now hard capped, depending on how they sign Wes Johnson. Hard to make cap space by my calculations, so they might need to use the MLE. If that's so, hard capped.
