Actually, Horford prefers the 4, so it would be the other way around. Johnson at the 5. Gasol would be the ideal 5 if Durant doesn't sign. Anyways, the 4-5 position is a fluid one in Stevens system. He likes guys who can play both.

Amir for defensive purposes.

I like the scoring punch and offensive versatility that KO can provide off the bench.  JJ is a bench player.

But JJ seems to be the perfect "Andre Roberson," "Thabo Sefalosha," "JR Smith," or "Tristan Thompson" type that really isn't starter material, but due to the needs of the team and the specific skills that they do well, such as defense, shooting, or rebounding, they start.

That's a fair point, but I think our interior defense would be next to non-existent with Horford + JJ.  Horford is solid defensively from a positional standpoint, but he's definitely not a rim protector in the traditional sense.  Gotta stick with Amir in my opinion.

And JJ is one of my favorite players on the team.  I love his versatility off the bench, but can't really see him as a long-term starter in any of the C's lineups with our current makeup.

Of the 3 names I would Say KO.. His floor spacing and passing would be ideal.. personally I hope Micky has his 3 ball working.. If so I think we gain Rim protecting, speed with the Transition game and floor spacing..

I think this kid can be a dark horse for us.

If Durant signs we will absolutely be relying on him developing into a rotational big. either that or we will have to trade Smart Rozier or Brown for a rookie contract big.

He's been in the gym 2 hours before anyone else, so he's working for it.
