To the dismay of many on here.. I think Danny will attempt to sign Horford for the max.
He seems to really love Horford like he loved Kevin Love a few years ago. He also targeted Horford hard at the trade deadline and if reports are true, IT recruited Horford at the All Star Break.
Just not sure he's worth the max and that's what he will get.
Even if Durant isn't coming here, I think Ainge sees Horford as a perfect fit and a guy who can stretch the floor. Lot better than Sullinger too and can score, and defend around the basket. He will target Horford as his top-3 choice even if he misses out on Durant.
Multiple teams will offer him the max I think like Atlanta and Houston but I think Boston will offer it to him as well. Which team he takes it from will be seen later.
