This isn't about whether the Celtics should target Love in the offseason

I'm just wondering what people think about Love's future in general.

We are all talking about the Cavaliers losing and Love being the scapegoat, but what if the Cavaliers do the unexpected and come back from 3-1 to win the Finals. Does Love's future in Cleveland depend on it or is he gone regardless what happens the next few days?

I said yes, if they win then you don't break up the team. Rarely does that go well.

Given that I highly doubt they win game 6, I think he's gone. It's just a matter of who bids what. The 3 way trade with Cleveland and New York sounds like a deal to please all

I think if they can get the right return for him, he's gone either way. Regardless of whether or not they win, he is clearly not a key piece of their team, and is far too overpaid for the contributions they are getting from him. He is misused, and I don't see that changing. They need to use his value and his salary slot to get players that can help fill more important team needs.

I highly doubt CLE is winning this series, but even if they do, it'll be despite Love, not because of him.  They should 100% trade him.

Yeah he's been a disaster. He doesn't even play at the end of games... For the right price he's gone regardless. Difference is if they lose (they will) I bet they'd be willing to take less for him since they need to make drastic changes, where as if they win and get low balled they can just say to themselves that they were a championship team even with him and hold out...

Unless Love carries them to victory in Game 7, I think they dump him.

they gave up so much to get him . . . they're not going to trade him for little.

he looks really hopeless right now, but you never know. he did have some games earlier in the playoffs where he shined. the man has pride, so you gotta figure he finds a way to contribute a lot more.

I honestly believe part of the reason they dislike him so much is because he's white. Some may find that controversial but it's just my 2 cents for post 2800.
