Personally, I think it's OK for Cleveland, we'll see though.

If Cavs win this without Love there will be a huge push to deal Love.

The real story should be: Why was Kevin Love allowed to continue playing in game 2?

The push is already starting, win loose, or draw, he is the chosen one to be sacrificed. I pray the Celtics don't get caught up in this.

I don't think it would take much either.

Love is in a lose-lose scenario

Cavs win tonight, it will be blamed on his crappy defense in the pick and roll

Cavs lose tonight, it will be because Love isn't durable

Either way GM lebron is squeezing him out this summer.

I think a Melo for Love trade makes a ton of sense for both teams

A Porzingis-Love front court pairing would be very nice.

I would but what if we were able to jump in to get Love while also helping the Knicks get young guys to match Zingers timeline.

Boston gets Love
Cavs get Melo
Knicks get 16, 23, 2018 Brooklyn, Jerebko, and young

What'll be even more interesting (in the short term) will be if they win tonight and the adjustment made in his absence seems to be working, how much do they play him in game four.

I don't see NY doing it unless they get #3. Then they can even pair Porzingis with Bender :D

Not really. Another ball-dominant, offense-only stretch 4 is the last thing that they need, especially when he brings less rebounding, too.

For the Knicks, they also need to bottom out this year when they actually have their own pick in order to bring some more talent to put alongside Porzingis. This, Love dragging them into mediocrity will only hurt them long-term.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

I see that being a hang up too unless they get a starter.

Yup.  I can't wait for the Love-fest to end.

That's the problem with the Cavs management though, that they may actually do something like this.

I mean, they traded the #1 pick for a guy who is one of the best offensive rebounders in the game, and one of the few highly effective low post scorers, and then proceeded to have him stand outside the 3 pt line ever since, basically throwing away his top talents.

Knowing them, they may trade for Melo and try to use him for his passing skills.

Man, and Golden State didn't even get a foul on the play. I feel as if the refs gave the majority of 50/50 calls to the Dubs, or no calls in this case. Home cooking? Really feels like a big part of the playoffs, even if it didn't at all affect the outcome of games 1 and 2.

About the only interesting thing that can happen tonight is thus:
1. Draymond kicks, clotheslines or tackles someone on the court and happens to get called for it. 2. Picks up flagrant, netting him a suspension for 1 game.
3. Cavs take game 3 and play game 4 with no Draymond, and Love returns.
4. Cavs catch fire, hold home court and even series 2-2.
5. Cavs lose in 6 instead of 5.
