It is an ALL STAR Yes....   My point is if we upgrade the PG position we could move IT to the bench.   IT would not move the needle much, but improve our bench a lot.   It is not crazy since Brad wanted

He is the best player on our team.  He made the All Star team based on us being a strong team in the East.   Our team is a team of solid role players with an All - Star that excels in 1/2 aspects of the game.    He is a defensive liability that would be an awesome player off the bench for a team like the Cavs, Spurs, Thunder, Clippers, Raptors and they all went further than us is in the play offs.

Trading the #3 for an impactful player meant Knight I would be happy.  I'd rather address the SF, PF or Center but if that was on the table I would think real hard.

And Brad would start the guy he wanted.   If that meant Knight or IT off the bench I'd feel confident our bench scoring would go up and we would win more games this next year.    I would bet the farm on that......    Knight > #3 all day long.
I think the disagreement here is that you think Knight is a lot better than most people believe him to be.

I think Knight is inferior to Isaiah Thomas. I think Knight is not worth the number 3 pick. You obviously believe those two things. Furthermore this move would necessitate a trade of our other gaurds because you simply cant have Bradley Knight Thomas Smart and Rozier all battling for the same minutes.

I'll take IT over Knight any day of the week.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

Crazy as it might seem we could move #3, #16 and #23 for Knight and 13.  Move It to the Bench.

Is Brandon Knight even good? Haven't watched him much, but his stats aren't anything to crow about.

IT should come off the bench when this team has a better PG to use in the starting unit.

We do not have such a PG right now.

Brandon Knight is not such a PG.

He especially is not worth blowing the #3 pick on.

This is ridiculous - if we are going to burn the #3 pick in order to upgrade a position, point guard is not the first position we should be worrying about.   Sure, any position could ALWAYS be improved.  But let's be real.  We have some other, much more pressing needs to address than the PG position.
NBA Officiating - Corrupt?  Incompetent?  Which is worse?  Does it matter?  It sucks.

We need to develop Marcus into that guy. Isaiah probably will lose some speed and hence some efficiency and impact on the game in the next 3 years, though he will still be useful. Him losing effectiveness means we need that better PG to come in. Marcus CAN be that guy. He just needs more time on the ball. With Evan on the roster these years it's been tough for him to get those minutes, and it's led to him playing off the ball, trying to catch and shoot (he's not good at it and it's a key reason his percentages are so low). Get him on the ball, let him learn the PnR, and hopefully he gets to the rim and FT line more.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Bradley can come off the bench as the sixth man as Marcus will start. If ever we get Brandon Knight as the OP suggests, he is the one who should coming off the bench. He have to earn it  the hard way to steal the spot to IT.

I think we are set, all our players have been undervalued in a month.
Congrats to all fans.
