I mean until they play like stars.

Just want to see how much being underweight can affect ones game

KG was probably 220lbs his 2nd year. Not much difference from draft day. 5-10lbs.

Durant it took until his 3rd year. His problem was bad defensive fundamentals rather than weight though. Again, probably only 5-10lbs difference.

Anthony Davis was 222lbs on draft day. He gained a lot of muscle his first off-season. More than Durant or Garnett. I'd guess he was 235-240lbs when he became a star.

KG had a warrior spirit, too.   You can be muscled and a wimp.   Davis had to it, too.   Durant has it on offense.   Not sure the picks at weighting  216 like Bender, Skal and Thon all have it.

Was kinda wondering this too.. TP for starting thread on skinny stars.
This applies to two things
  • How much weight would it take for James Young to even come off the bench?
  • Would Dragan reach this level by simply putting on 15 lbs?
