It is the only reasonable scenario...

Cousins, Horford and Love are not going anywhere...

Howard and Gasol have age and injury issues...

Butler is not that much of an upgrade over our guards considering the cost...

My top 4 picks in order:

Ingrahm: nba is shooters league
Simmons
Bender: People will think he is Porzingis 2.0 even if he isnt
Hield: best shooter in a shooters league

Knowing our luck...we get 5 or 6...which means the rebuild continues with no fireworks...

I sure hope IT and Lucky have a plan...

with a bench of Smart Crowder Turner KO and Jerabko would be amazing. I would also like to see Amir back.

Not really. Whiteside and OKafor occupy the same space and the same problems that exist with Okafor/Noel would exist with an Okafor/Whiteside pairing. Actually it would probably be worse, since at least Noel can cover quicker players on the perimeter. Whiteside has no interesting contesting open shooters and prefers to be in the paint racking up blocks and rebound numbers, trying to get his 2K rating up.

Sorry...didnt mean pairing okafor and whiteside...i think DA came to the conclusion that okafor is a realistic target...he was trying and may still try to buy low on okafor...cousins and horford and love are unattainable imo...howard and gasol are not advisable...price will be too high for butler...i would go for whiteside instead of okafor to keep core intact...

I feel like I was nuts thinking Durant would ever consider here. It's too hard to win a title and it's too important to him. Sure he'll get done ring chaser flack at first if he goes to San Antonio or especially golden state but nobody will care in a year. I really think it's gonna be Golden State now if he chooses to leave OKC but I don't even consider him anymore here. Cleveland could still beat us if we added him and Whiteside or him and Butler.
