The Hawks just got swept for the second time in two years by the Cavs, along with losing their 12th straight to Cleveland. If Horford cares about winning, there's no real justification for him to stay in Atlanta. This has now proven to them that they just can't get over the hurdle that is Cleveland. I think Horford is an excellent candidate to change teams this summer.

San Antonio is up 2-1 on OKC right now, and it's been Durant's teammates that have been costing games against San Antonio. If we could luck out and San Antonio wins tonight and then finishes the series in 5 at home this upcoming week, then Durant is also a great candidate to change teams this summer.

The first domino has fallen. Now we're just waiting for the second to follow suit! Let's go Spurs!

I wonder where the Hawks go from here. Do they even want to sign him? Or look for a change .

I wonder if Horford goes to Miami?

With Bosh likely done for his career , and the big hispanic community in South beach, it sounds like a good fit for him .

Don't know how big of a draw to Durant to Boston he would be .

There was a report awhile back that Horford is among the guys Durant would like to play with
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Do they even have the money for him? Bosh won't come off of the books by this summer, and they still have to make a decision about Whiteside and Deng.

Also, though I see the Hispanic attraction for him, Miami is an aging team with aging stars. We're in a much better basketball situation than Miami, along with having many more assets and much more cap space to improve our team both now and in the future.

They get medical exemption for Bosh if he is done playing.

But they won't get it before the offseason is over.  They can't apply for an exception until a year after his last game.

Yes, they absolutely want to sign him.  Including Horford's cap hold, they'll have around $20 million in cap room, with the only other major free agent being Bazemore.  They can keep Horford and upgrade their roster.

If Chicago really blows things up and moves on from Rose, I'd think a trade for Butler built around Teague could be interesting, with maybe Hardaway and a draft pick or two.  They could probably afford to pay Bazemore if they went that route, giving them a starting lineup of Schroder, Korver, Butler, Horford, and Millsap, with a bench including Bazemore, Scott, Sefolosha, and Splitter if he gets healthy.  They'd need to add a veteran PG, but I bet they could retain Hinrich if nothing else.
