Stan the Man looking as advertised guarding Lebron game 1, played him super physical, but at the same time never lost his cool.

 Video here.

He was my #1 Binkie last year, hes proving what I loved about him. His mom is awesome too taught him everything he knows about hoops.

Mine too.

Will be interesting watching him and Winslow compete over the years.

Great poise from the youngster.   Marcus, take note.

Ugh.   I reeeaaaally wish we had been able to somehow get Stanley out that draft.

Sigh...

At least this was never an option. We will forever be watching Winslow and Turner, though. I guess we just have to hope for the best from Rozier.

James shot 53% scored 22 points and dished out 11 assists.  I get that Johnson was on him only a brief stint, but James did what he wanted in the game.

Last year (or a year and a half ago), I set out to watch a lot of college basketball.  I was convinced we would have a top ten pick and possibly a top five pick and wanted to scout out the prospects.  Outside of the top few picks, Johnson was one of my favorites.  When we started winning more than losing, I was frustrated as our draft slot was falling.  Eventually, I learned our team and its players were a lot better than I realized.  I'm not disappointed that we missed out on Johnson because the fact he was not an option is directly related to the fact that our team's present and future is much better than expected so early into our rebuild.
