If he had a couple of other guys who teams would have to guard, he would be even better!!  It's hard to take it to the hole when there are 4 guys packed in waiting for you.

TP. I'm glad somebody realizes this. Not only are there no other good offensive options, there are no other good shooters to spread the floor in any way out there with him.

IT carried the team on his shoulders for the win last night!  That's what you look for from your all-star player!

Say what you want about his size, IT, makes things happen with his game and scoring ability.  In fact if you look at his stats this past season, he put up more points in a season than Kyrie Irving ever has, was a better 3 point shooter, created more points from the FT line, created more assists, and had more steals.

IT's all-star selection this season is no fluke.  And if the Celtics add to the team depth by signing a marquee player or two in the offseason, IT will only get better as teams will have to guard our other weapons and pay less attention to him.

Yeah I think NBA officials saw it and just thought it was minor
But also ratings and seats wise
The Hawks and Celtics series would be a downer

With us having plenty of injuries and Thomas suspended we won't stand a chance offensively in the rest of the games
Which would make the games lopsided and ugly from an audience perspective

Thomas is the face and the talent foundation of this team.

Why people think he's going anywhere escapes me about as much as those who want to throw away a lottery pick on that stiff Dragan Bender.
Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."

Not a good performance by the entire team. Not just Isaiah. Total team collapse. Isaiah needs help and the guys around him are either under developed or just depth role players. Celtics need shooting.

Not all on Isaiah. Atlanta played him great. Brad has to go back to film and see what made Isaiah successful in games 3 and 4, and how to fix what happened today and game 2 as well
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Thomas didnt have a good game, but atlanta has played him tight and turner didnt help by making turnovers. Crowder cant make shots, sully the reason we cant rotate well etc. Even with a typical IT gamr we would still br behind, be ause of ET and Sully. That brutal stretch in the 3rd where sully cant rotate quick enough and ET got the hawks fastbreak was horrible

Bring back the Rondo vs. IT thread lol, this blog is full of over overreacting people. IT is a great talent that needs help. Need another scorer that will open the floor for him.

Thomas haters will bring back the 6th man talk. But the only thing this game confirmed is that Isaiah is not a primary option. He can definitely still start for a contender as a second/third option. But a primary option is too much for him. But he's definitely not a 6th man.
