until now, no one knows
at 23 years old no one knows

although Barnes is not the reason that Golden State’s offense is so good. Even so, he shot 36% from three his rookie year. He shot 35% his sophomore year, and he’s shot 40% the last couple of years

and he was horrid last night with his chance to shine on the main stage with Curry out..
I think whoever gives this guy a max deal will be regretting the decision. HOPEFULLY its not us.

He's the fourth option on a extremely talented team.. The Toni Kukoc of the Warriors.

Sure he's still young and primed to improve. Additionally more responsibility and touches should bring both development and just more stats.

Will he be worth it? That's something I'm skeptical of, but these are the gambles GMs must make. Key it to find the right one.

We need more natural shooters so I'm leaning yes unless we land Ingram.

As much as I like Crowder he's proving to be a very inconsistent shooter. I think Crowder and Barnes could be a good combo. They both being different things.

No = he is what he is. Does not have the ball-handling skills or the passing ability to create for himself and/or others. Not suited to being a top 2 option on a team. Suited to being a 3rd or preferably 4th option.

We could really use a guy like Barnes who you feel confident that he's going to knock down an open three. Especially if IT drives to Barnes side of the court.

The crazy thing is is that if we had a player like this who could hit a few open threes I think that would loosen up the rest of the team. We aren't far. We just need shooters now to even out the team.

I think that this is where I am, as well. He's a useful player, but he's not the dynamic 20 ppg scorer some projected him to be.
