yesterday, i got a message from a season ticket holder, he has seats right near the bench with his dad
the poster offered too, when available,  take me to a celts game as a result of my posting on this board-
i went to loscy camps, played against cousy ,played in old boston garden under all those banners but have only seen one live game outside of an exhibition
by the way there were dead spots on floor
my father was an academic yale/mit and was not athletic ,
i thought i was adopted
in my 30's, i said i never got what wanted for christmas-he goes" what do you want"  and of course i said celtics tickets-he goes okay
well christmas comes and i get tickets but tickets to RUSSIAN FOLK DANCERS,he couldn't do it
that was santa claus with revenge
so this out of blue offer  was like finally getting what i wanted for christmas all those years ago
the celtics stand for something special and this was one of those actions-thanks for the posters and this board

That's great Rollie!  Have a blast.

I got to see the '08 banner go up on opening night under similar circumstances.

Good peeps on CB.
