Why doesn't Draymond get more techs?

I mean seriously, this guy complains about 90% of the calls that go against him. I get that he plays tough and he's versatile and all that, but the way he jumps up and down and yells at officials after fouls, I can't think of any other player (other than LBJ) that's given so much slack from the officials.

I agree but basically all the stars complain a ton and some get criticized and some get overlooked.  All part of the phony type of fan reactions around.  People only want to criticize the players they want and they overlook all those who they don't want to.

He ranks second in the NBA in technical fouls - he is only four behind Cousins and is tied with Dwight Howard and Marcus Morris. He's in some pretty special company there as far as headcases go.

Ironically, our very own Isaiah Thomas ranks equal 5th with 10 technical, tried with DeAndre Jordan and Chris Paul.

I'm not letting the refs off.  There is no way that wasn't a foul on Smart.  The person getting the ball ALWAYS gets that call.  Maybe the refs have decided Smart isn't getting any calls because of his flopping, although that hasn't seemed to happen to other notorious flippers like Scola who got a terrible charge/foul call in his favor.  The refs do seem to have it out for Smart and he is letting it get in his head.

I'm not letting the refs off.  There is no way that wasn't a foul on Smart.  The person getting the ball ALWAYS gets that call.  Maybe the refs have decided Smart isn't getting any calls because of his flopping, although that hasn't seemed to happen to other notorious flippers like Scola who got a terrible charge/foul call in his favor.  The refs do seem to have it out for Smart and he is letting it get in his head.

Both were going for the ball. And smart tossed the ball up with 1 sec.  Wild shot.  The refs usually don't bail you out in that type of situation

Techs ruin the game. They should only be given if there is a fight or something.

I agree, but some people actually want to see people complaining. In particular, homer types are often onboard with their players complaining because they are complaining in front of their TV at home. When the tech is called, they complain the refs are trying to be the stars.

Yes he's 2nd in the NBA but in terms of absolute value, I think that means 11 technicals right? (Cousins leads the league at 15).

Now, Isaiah having 10 and Draymond having 11 paints a totally different picture. I really don't think Isaiah is just 1 tech away from Draymond Green. Maybe Isaiah deserves his 10 but I do think Draymond deserves more.
