One of those articles where the writer seems to be trying to convince themself along with the reader. My main thing with Cousins harkens back to Zach Randolph and Rasheed. Being that big and that coordinated means that all of your accomplishments and failures are magnified.

A lot of these talented big men end up in a "die the hero or live long enough to become the villan" scenario. They play their game deep in the playoffs or regular season game 46. If a team can't put a cast around them either due to incompotent leadership, cap constraints, or an undesirable location it's not the player's fault. They can get 25/12 in a win or a nasty loss.

I dislike the bad attitude element. When things are going great it seems that the leadership gets praise for "figuring it out", but when the team is underperforming there is no easier target than the franchise big man.

Just my opinion but personally think the author came across as a twit. Cherry picking state from a bottom feeding team like Sac does little to sway my opinion on Cousins.
