With Jae going down for the next 2+ weeks I think James Young has been blessed with a golden, and what might be his final, opportunity.

Rozier, Young, Hunter, even Mickey will probably see their minutes increase.

Hopefully Young can take advantage but Im not holding my breath.

Who will step up here and force their way into the permanent rotation when Jae returns?

James Young is freakin' 20 years old. This would not be his final opportunity! He has the physique and shooting skills to be an elite 3 and D player. He has years to develop still.

Obviously he has more time and will get another chance elsewhere.

However with all our draft picks and a lot of cap space and Danny obviously looking to bring back ET and probably Jerebko too, I think he has to show something. Hes been here for nearly 2 years. It is time to show something. Danny often moves on after two years (Fab Melo, Jajuan Johnson, Giddines) Young needs to assert himself here.

Finally. I was starting to feel lonely in here.

I can see Mickey, Smart, Turner and Jerebko all getting some of Crowder's minutes.  I hope we don't see James Young.

Brad pretty much said that Young would get some of the minutes this afternoon.

I don't think Mickey will get more playing time, especially with Olynyk coming back.

Agreed on Rozier over Young though. Rozier playing means Smart will need to play some 3, which I would rather see than Young at the 3. I loved how Rozier used his speed to increase the pace. Some of those rebounds showed serious elevation.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

It was a lot of fun watching Rozier getting meaningful time. I'm all for more of it.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Yeah, I would love for Rozier to show that he is a productive player; everybody else from his draft class is apparently already awesome.

I d like to see Hunter , Mickey and Rozier all involved more .  Three hi octane types that should be thrown in when the regular rotation guys are STUCK in neutral.
