4 team trade :

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=jaz3wt6

we send all our non brooklyn picks to the appropriate teams as needed...

We draft Buddy Hield with the nets pick and resign Horford and end up with this team :

Thomas - Smart - Rozier
Bradley - Shumpert - Hield
Crowder - Turner - Hunter
Love - Jerebko - Mickey
Horford - Sully - Zeller

Quite a bit hesitant to part ways with Kelly Olynyk this early as I see great things ahead for him but too tempted to get 3 All-Stars in their prime for Brad Stevens to play with, with his set of bulldogs (Smart, Bradley, Crowder + Shumpert)...

Great trade for the Celtics, can't see anyone else being interested.  Look at the wins changes, we get better, everyone else gets worse.  And no, non lottery picks don't change that equation.

Definitely think that cleveland jump on the deal!!

It's reported they are interested in Korver and getting Howard with Lebron will be a go for them!

As for the other 2 teams I guess it really depends on what other offers they are getting as the deadline approaches... if nothing of substance come their way, I think they could take that deal with the picks we will be sending their way (Hou could get 1 cavs 1st + 2 C's 2nd less valuable ones; and ATL could get 2 first from Cs and 2 C's 2nd more valuable ones) or something like that...

And I like Mozgov for HOU...

Or Jaylen Brown... Or whatever you think could work as long as we keep our Brooklyn pick. (haven't followed college games much..)
But for your info, I picked him after seeing him ranked 5th on nbadraft, so...

To be fair, Buddy is a great player, but at his age I do not see too much growth to be had. He is going to be 23 during his rookie year. Same logic is stopping me from preaching that Dunn is a consensus top 3 pick. It just seems like past the top two picks, all the players have clear negatives.

I really like Horford.  Don't really think we need Shumpert with Bradley already on the team.  I feel like Love is overrated for what he would cost.  Not in love with Hield either, I'd be hoping for more upside with a top 5 pick.

Not only do we not have to give up significant current NBA talent to acquire two of the better players in the league, but then we don't even have to give up a Brooklyn pick. Is it possible that this trade proposal is a little bit slanted in our favor?

Damien Lillard came out after his senior year. He still may not have hit his ceiling. Stephen Curry played three years at Davidson and came out at 21. He is still getting better. Hield's age bothers me little. People get too caught up in the age thing.

Not sure I'd be too into a Love/Horford combo.

Too lacking in size and rim protection for my liking.  It wouldn't be a terrible combination, but I don't feel it would be a great one either.

Horford kinda IS who Kevin Love would be if he stopped chucking ludicrous amounts of three point shots.

Listening to Simmons most recent podcast.  His Al Horford idea was the Boston 2016 1st, the Dallas 2016 1st, the #31 pick we have from Philly and Olynyk (or Sully) for Horford.

If that's the Horford price, you have to imagine that the Kevin Love price would be SIGNIFICANTLY more considering Love is under contract and Horford could end up being a 30 game rental.  We'd have to start with the Brooklyn 2016 1st.
