I'll take a team that plays together and with spirit over 2 guys any day of the week. Superstar players can be detrimental to development. I'm honestly concerned about what we are going to do with all these picks for that reason. I love how this team is developing. We can blow it in a variety of ways.
If there is one thing I hate about the internet and have never agreed with it's the focus on the other stuff instead of what we have and getting better as a team. More in a positive sense. Players don't play well at times but it doesn't mean we should trade them.
Or bring in players that hurt chemistry. We have to be very careful what we do in that regard. Whoever we bring in we have established a culture where that player has to be more a part of what we are doing.
I understand but the beauty of how this team is set up is that we could possibly trade for a star without giving up any of our main rotation players. This isn't like when the NYK traded everything for Anthony. We can keep our chemistry and still add talent.
Oh I agree. Imagine if we could get Cousins or a guy like that. Or even Howard and get them to play to their potential and be a part of this culture and spirit. We want that guy to put us over the top in ways but not destroy that spirit though.
Super talented players play down sometimes is all. If we are too talented. We want that fighting spirit in ways to put us over the top. Not the superstar.
We want to beat the lebrons of the world in ways and shock the world. It's hard to explain. We want to be that underdog in some fashion.
It feels so good when we do. Not just because we are supposed to.
David vs Goliath. RAWR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
