LeBron has disappointed me with how poorly he played with Chris Bosh in Miami and now with Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving in Cleveland. Also, how LeBron's teams have had such a focus on individuality instead of teamwork (offensively). He doesn't bring teams together. He doesn't get the most out of the guys around him.
That is disappointing to see from such a truly tremendously talented player.
That seems a bit unfair to Lebron. Bosh's FG% has been above 50% four times, two of the times were with James, including his career high. His percentage in the two years since James left are his worst two seasons since his first two seasons. Miami went from basically a top 10 offense to 27th in the league last year and are currently 28th in the league this year. Despite adding a strong offensive PG in the process.
I think you are being critical of James just to be critical of James. The reality is there are only so many shots to go around. Bosh took the biggest hit of the big three in Miami, but did so because bosh is the worst offensive player of that group.
As for Cleveland. Irving's game hasn't dropped off at all except for the injury related stuff this year. His first year with James, Irving had a career high in FG% and 3PT% (and was just off his career high in ppg). He is markedly slower this year and clearly rusty, but missing 6 months with an injury will do that to you. Obviously Love has had some issues fitting in, but a lot of that appears to have been coaching. the last three games, Love has looked like the old Love scoring 20+ points and grabbing 10+ rebounds (well 2 of those games). He is a lot more involved and active and his shooting percentage is way up from where it was (not to mention when you injure your shoulder you numbers drop a bit also).
When you add talented players your numbers drop. I mean James basically dropped 3 ppg going from Cleveland to Miami and that is with him increasing his efficiency (which is what should happen when you play with better players).
